If you would like to keep your tax rate at fifteen percent then you will have to keep your income between $16,700 and $67,900. If you make $67,900 or up to $137,050 then you will pay a tax rate of twenty five percent. On and on it goes up to thirty five percent with an income over $372,950.
Single Filing Status
For most taxpayers filing with a single filing status you can expect to pay a tax rate of ten percent if your income is between $0 and $8,350.
You will pay a tax rate of thirty three percent if your income is between $171,550 and $372,950. If your income is $372,950 or higher you can expect o pay a tax rate of thirty five percent.
